CAPA Market Study: Access to Electricity in Africa

A growing number of International Financing Institutions (IFIs) initiate specific actions to improve access to electricity throughout Africa and often recruit engineering or consulting firms to assist them. CPCS and Econoler, with support from Global Affairs Canada, have explored this exciting, growing market for the Canada Africa Power Alliance (CAPA) and have summarized the findings in a report which shows that IFI-funded consulting and engineering opportunities related to access to electricity represent about CAD 80-100 million per year.
