Contract Signed! CPCS to Support MCC’s Kosovo Threshold Program

In September 2017, CPCS (in consortium with WSP and Econoler) was selected by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to serve as Technical Advisor for its Reliable Energy Landscape Project in Kosovo. This project focuses on two main activities to improve key aspects of the Kosovo energy sector: Pilot Incentives for Household Investment in Energy Efficiency (PIE) and District Heating Metering. This is part of the MCC’s $49 million investment program in Kosovo, also known as a Threshold Program,  “designed to lower energy costs for households and businesses and support the Government of Kosovo in its efforts to improve data transparency and accountability, strengthen rule of law, and reduce corruption” (MCC: Investing in Kosovo’s Promise). Over the next 4 years, CPCS will support the MCC to design and implement its Threshold Program’s energy activities, and help attain its objective “to spur growth, fight poverty, and advance stability.”
