Jean-Francois Arsenault, CPCS’s VP Afrique Francophone, presents at the prestigious 3rd Canada-Africa Business Convention

The 3rd Canada-Africa Business Convention with the 2nd International Water-Africa Conference is a prestigious business gathering of private sector actors, qualified scientists and specialists to bring the business opportunities between Canada and Africa to the center of debates, while taking into account the major issues of the environment and access to drinking water in Africa. 

Jean-François was a Key Speaker on the Panel "Partenariat public privé, moteur de développement". He discussed issues related to PPP in Africa, including whether PPP projects could generally be financed without public support, key sectors where PPP were in development, and how PPPs and the associated potential for financing are motivating government to improve key practices in terms of public service tariffs, sectoral reforms and overall investment climate.
