Global Director - Don Selby
Donald is the Director of CPCS's PPP Global Unit. Donald holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics and a Master in Managing Major Projects and Programmes and holds the Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) designation. Donald has considerable project management experience over a wide range of sectors and countries around the world. He worked for many years in Africa and the CIS with Lonrho Plc, involved in projects as diverse as agriculture, agro-industrial, forestry, mining, hotels, energy and infrastructure. He is an accomplished financial analyst and modeller with a broad range of financial management skills. Recently, his focus has been on transportation, railways in particular, being involved in railway privatisations and concessioning, business development, financial structuring and modelling, industry reform, corporate restructuring, commercialisation and regulation. He is a PPP expert having worked on Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) on both the buy and sell side for many years. He has managed a number of international consulting and transaction advisory mandates and has board level management experience with several small - medium sized companies.
